This is a display of Artwork by Francis Tanseco on the subject of Women.

There are twelve paintings in all that touches on women's concern.

Nora Aunor; through her Filmography, the Philippine's Actress phenomenally crowned with a title as "the one and only" "SUPERSTAR" is depicted as an actress amongst other.

These paintings are portrait of women's and their concerns, issues, rights, fun, sexuality, the men who likes to be women and vice versa, drugs, joy and sadness, success and failure and just being a woman.

BEAUTY, LOVE, MADNESS

Artist

Francis Tanseco is a self-thought artist originally of Manila, Philippines. To date, He has had two series of paintings exhibited in London. They are "Healing" and "Make Love Not War". This exhibit in June entitled "Beauty, Love and Madness"-will showcase some of his early works that still remains to be completed as a series. Nevertheless the works on display is intriguing in its approach and experimental mode. A total of 9 paintings it is by far the most personal expression of his works through abstraction and distraction that he sees around him. It is also at the same time his madness, love and beauty portrayed in a manner so personal and so inspired by two famous painters that has one way or the other influenced his subjects in his canvass. This is homage to Picasso and Van Gogh. It is Homage, to the many artists that inspired him both present and past.

MAKE LOVE NOT WAR

�MAKE LOVE NOT WAR�, is the title of this 12 series of paintings (oil on canvas, sizes vary). The approach is experimental in the use of the rainbow colour (also known as peaceful colours and also use by gay and lesbians as their national flag of identification). The inspiration and aim is the promotion of peace and tolerance. The significance in the use of the rainbow colour in this series is the love of oneself that is to be loud to say to the world that YOU ARE NOT JUST BLACK AND WHITE but COLOURFUL and PROUD. The parade will open in London.

HEALING

Series of 21 paintings that depicts the colours of the world and life itself. The emotions are portrayed in the theme of an abstract flower. These expressions are based upon my feelings about the topics of beauty, sexuality, politics, nature and religion. Healing series is being exhibited in london by a filipino artist.
